Asset Maintenance Services


CMTI provides prime contractor Asset Maintenance services on more than 400 miles of interstate and arterial roads in Central Florida. This includes 135 miles of Interstate 95 (I-95), one of the nation’s most visible and traveled highways. Within the I95 right of way, CMTI manages the maintenance, repair and incident response for bridges, major lighting systems, high visibility signs, and an extensive network of concrete and natural drainage systems, embankments and ditches. This includes providing Customer Service/Call Center Management directly to the public (1.3 million residents) to respond to complaints and concerns within the right of way.

As the gateway to Central Florida, I-95 Interstate Highway funnels more than forty-four thousand daily travels through CMTI’s project areas in Flagler, Volusia and Brevard counties. Debris along the roadways poses unique safety and aesthetic problems for residents and motorists along these roadways. CMTI deploys a full-time staff of debris removal technicians who patrols these thoroughfares while also responding to roadside accidents to support law enforcement and traffic control activities.

Our Incident Response Teams provide Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) for all accidents along our prescribed roads to safely control the on-scene flow of vehicles in support of first responders and law enforcement. Highly trained MOT professional technicians are fundamental to all of CMTI’s asset maintenance project support activities.

Emergency & Disaster Response Experience

CMTI has more than two decades of involvement on public-private partnering, planning and deployment of emergency response programs predominately on weather related events. Our FDOT teams have First Responder responsibilities including pre-positioning of personnel and assets to support debris removal, tree fall removal, traffic control, drainage mitigation and accident. As a result of Hurricane Ian, CMTI has served as a prime contractor on multiple major roadway and embankment erosion repair projects to protect the structural integrity.
